Why I built this.
I came into this work the way most serious practitioners do — not because I was looking for a career change, but because the conventional tools I’d been given to work with the human mind had stopped being enough.
My early training was in the Tad James lineage. I studied directly within the tradition that codified time-based techniques and gave the field its modern shape. I went on to earn trainer credentials in NLP and Hypnosis from every major board that exists — the American Board of NLP, the American Board of Hypnotherapy, the International Federation of NLP, and The Standards & Credentialing Authority. I became a Huna Initiator in the ancient Hawaiian wisdom tradition. I built a private mentorship — Catalyst to eXperience® — for the leaders, healers, and visionaries whose work demanded depth that the public-facing trainings couldn’t provide.
And throughout all of that, I kept noticing the same thing.
I’d watch graduates of weekend NLP certifications walk into rooms with real clients and freeze, because their training had given them flashcards instead of fluency. I’d watch hypnotherapists confuse depth of trance with depth of work. I’d watch coaches sell transformation services using techniques they’d learned over a long weekend from someone who hadn’t actually lived the work.
The TranceForm Institute exists because I refused to keep watching it.
What this institute exists for.
TranceForm trains practitioners who intend to do this work as if a human being’s life is in their hands — because once they sit with real clients, it actually is. We exceed every international standard for contact hours. We require live coaching practice from Day 2 of every training. We credential through the boards that took the time to build standards, not the ones that sell certificates. And we hold ourselves to the standard we ask of our students: keep learning, keep practicing, keep refining — for the rest of your professional life.

On lineage:
Lineage matters in this work the way it matters in the martial arts. A student should always be able to ask: who taught the person teaching me, and who taught them? In NLP, the answer should eventually trace back to the originating work of Bandler, Grinder, Erickson, and the Time-Based Techniques codified by Tad James. My training did. My students’ training does.

It is reserved for a very small number of leaders, healers, and visionaries pursuing the highest expression of this work, and it is never opened to public application — only by referral from someone already inside it.
