Level 2 · Foundation Certification
FasTrak NLP
Practitioner Certification.
Seven days. Five integrated certifications. The technical and ethical groundwork that every serious facilitator builds upon.
What You Earn
Five integrated certifications.
The TranceForm Institute’s NLP Practitioner program is not a single certification with extras tacked on. It is a deliberately integrated program in which each credential reinforces the others — and you graduate qualified, on the same day, in five distinct disciplines recognized by the international boards.
| Certification | Credentialing Body |
|---|---|
| Certified NLP Practitioner | The American Board of NLP (ABNLP) |
| Certified Hypnotist | The American Board of Hypnotherapy (ABH) |
| Certified Time-Based Techniques Practitioner | TSCA |
| Certified NLP Coach | The International Federation of NLP (IFNLP) |
| Certified Practitioner of Applied NLP & Hypnosis | The TranceForm Institute (TIANH) |
Full Curriculum
What seven days actually contains.
This is not a high-level overview. The list below is what you’ll learn, demonstrate, and be tested on across the seven days of the FasTrak Practitioner. You’ll do live coaching with live subjects from Day 2 onward, and you’ll leave with a working repertoire — not a certificate of attendance.
Foundations of NLP and Hypnosis
The history, philosophy, and ethical foundations of the field. The presuppositions of NLP — what they mean in practice and how they re-shape the way you listen. An introduction to the subjective experience of trance and the conditions under which it occurs naturally.
Sensory Acuity and Calibration
Reading the unconscious signals — micro-expressions, breathing patterns, postural shifts, eye accessing cues — that tell a skilled practitioner what is actually happening inside the client, regardless of what is being said. Calibration drills with live partners until the skill becomes automatic.
Rapport and Pacing
The three layers of rapport: physiological matching, voice and tonality matching, and predicate matching. The skill of leading from rapport — the moment a practitioner moves from following the client’s state to consciously influencing it.
Submodalities
The fine-grained internal codes — picture size, brightness, location, sound qualities, kinesthetic intensities — by which the unconscious mind organizes experience. Submodality interventions for shifting the felt meaning of memories and projected futures.
The Meta Model
The linguistic patterns by which the unconscious mind generalizes, deletes, and distorts experience — and the precise questions that recover the missing information. The diagnostic backbone of every coaching conversation a practitioner will ever have.
The Milton Model
The artfully vague hypnotic language patterns of Dr. Milton Erickson, codified by Bandler and Grinder — the patterns that distinguish an extraordinary therapist or speaker from a competent one, and the rules for using them ethically.
Anchoring
The conditioned-response architecture that lets a practitioner install, stack, collapse, and chain emotional states with reliability. Tactile, auditory, and visual anchors. The Circle of Excellence and other foundational anchoring formats.
Strategy Elicitation
How to detect the unconscious cognitive sequences — the strategies — by which a person produces a behavior, decision, or feeling. How to install new strategies and refine existing ones.
Foundational Hypnosis
Inductions, deepeners, suggestibility tests, and ethical use of trance. The legal and ethical scope of certified hypnosis practice. Live induction work with the cohort.
Time-Based Techniques (Foundation)
Foundation-level interventions for releasing limiting decisions and emotional residue — the groundwork for the deep time-based work in the Master Practitioner training.
Live Coaching Practice
From Day 2, you coach live subjects with the cohort observing and the trainer supervising. By the end of the week you will have completed multiple full-length coaching sessions under live observation. No other format can substitute for this.
Who This Is For
Who completes the FasTrak Practitioner.
The training is appropriate for coaches and consultants who want unconscious-level tools to add to their existing practice; therapists and counselors who want the linguistic and hypnotic depth their primary training did not include; healers and bodyworkers who want to integrate cognitive and linguistic work with their existing modalities; founders, leaders, and high-stakes communicators who want the influence skills that transform every conversation; and serious students of personal mastery who intend to use this work first on their own lives, and then with others.
For Coaches
You’ll leave with a complete coaching framework rooted in the unconscious-level patterns that produce lasting change — not just rapport and reflection.
For Therapists & Healers
You’ll leave fluent in the language patterns and hypnotic depth that reach below cognitive resistance — exactly where the difficult material lives.
For Leaders & Speakers
You’ll leave with the influence skills that the best in your field already use — formalized, named, and reproducible on demand.

Common Questions
Frequently asked.
How does the FasTrak Practitioner differ from a weekend NLP cert?
The FasTrak is seven full days with live coaching practice from Day 2 — roughly 120 contact hours. Weekend NLP certifications typically run 16–24 contact hours and rely heavily on lecture. The international boards we credential through have minimum-hour requirements that weekend formats do not meet.
What boards is the certification recognized by?
The American Board of NLP (ABNLP), the American Board of Hypnotherapy (ABH), the International Federation of NLP (IFNLP), and The Standards & Credentialing Authority (TSCA). Robert Carbuccia is a credentialed trainer through each.
I’m a therapist — does this conflict with my license?
No. Certified NLP Practitioner and Certified Hypnotist credentials are practitioner certifications, not licensed clinical credentials. They expand the toolkit you bring to your existing licensed practice.
Do I need to complete Practitioner before Master Practitioner?
The Master Practitioner Bundle is the recommended path because the two are sequential and integrated. Students with prior Practitioner certification from a recognized institution may apply for direct entry to Master Practitioner.
